Vitoria, Spain, April 17, 2023 - Capital Energy, a Spanish energy company founded more than two decades ago and whose vocation is to become the first vertically integrated 100% renewable energy operator in the Iberian Peninsula, continues to reinforce the central role that the binomial innovation-transition to green and fair energy plays in its strategy.
Through its corporate venturing vehicle, Quantum, the group has led, with 800,000 euros, the financing round launched by VELTIUM 1.5 million and in which BASQUE FCR, managed by Gestión de Capital Riesgo del País Vasco of the SPRI Group (Basque Business Development Agency), also participated with 700,000 euros.

With this capital increase, the company aims to boost the development of new technologies and accelerate the commercial deployment of its products and services, in order to consolidate its position in the markets in which it already operates and start its internationalization process.
Capital Energy Quantum and BASQUE FCR want to continue to drive the growth of VELTIUM, which will continue with its roadmap of launching new products and services and improving its production capacities, and to accompany the team in its journey through a market of exponential progression.
