VELTIUM's CEO, David García-Pardo, has participated in the Informative Meeting organized by Europa Press and AEDIVE coinciding with the World Electric Vehicle Day 2025.
Following the presentation of the report " charging Infrastructure Industry for Electric Vehicles", a round table discussion was held to analyze the prospects for charging infrastructure in Spain for the period 2025-2030, with the participation of representatives from AEDIVE, Circontrol, Ingeteam and V2C, as well as VELTIUM.
During the event, the potential of a sector in full growth was highlighted. According to Arturo Pérez de Lucía, CEO of AEDIVE, "the Spanish charging infrastructure industry will reach 3.5 billion in turnover in the period 2025-2030", afigure that reflects the strategic role that our country will play in the transition to electric mobility.
During his speech, David García-Pardo pointed out the importance of public administrations adding the charging infrastructure to their housing plans to encourage deployment in the residential area and to new urban developments to provide charging solutions for drivers without their own garage.
The meeting showed how Spain already has a solid base of companies, manufacturers and technology centers capable of sustaining this infrastructure growth. Most importantly, emphasis was placed on the need for public-private collaboration to ensure that this infrastructure reaches the entire territory in an efficient and accessible manner.
